It's actually a little sweet, parents often do have a miserable time on a holiday, but they tough it up for their kids

Life is for the special moments; the joy on your kids face when you open the present they picked out for you is top of that list. Yeah, a family is hard. But anything worth having is. All the rest of the drama is just detritus, forgotten in the blink of an eye. But those moments, those little skips of your heartbeat in the midst of the chaos, will carry you for the rest of your life.

So if you are afraid of the commitment, the hard work, the effort that it takes to raise a family, then don't. It's okay. No one will judge you. Just remember that neither your Rolex nor your Jag is going to be there for you when you get old. But I will be buried in my «dad» slippers with a smile on my face.

i love everything leading up to Christmas… the music, the movies, childhood nostalgia, decorations, lights outside, but Christmas day i cannot stand as an adult. The expectations for this magical family moment is way too high, i never buy the right gifts, my nieces and nephew get rowdy, my relatives make me question my life choices, i end up in a food coma, and within a few hours i'm outta there. I skipped Christmas last year and might make it a permanent tradition.

Years ago we had the up all night putting a playhouse together Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, we also had to put together a kitchen and a play jungle gym. The kitchen was the worst with the little stickers everywhere. Bad planning.

I'm in my late 30's but the 8 year old boy in me laughed so hard when Damon got the fart in the face. This skit beautifully encapsulates the beauty/horror that is the Christmas holiday.

First show that was good from start to finish in a very long time. Can't help but think that Matt Damon had an awful lot to do with that. The whole tone of the show was different — the skits were much more concise and tight around the theme and the writing was crisper, far better edited. Maybe concentrate on using talent like this who have multiple areas of skill to offer (Jason Momoa was GREAT as a comedic actor earlier this month — but the show sucked). Regardless — a very good show. No home runs, but no ill-conceived duds either. Doubles and triples throughout.
